PowereX’s Mission in North America

From January 29 to February 4, 2024, PowereX participated in a business mission
accompanying the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová, during her
official visit to Canada and the USA. This mission represented a unique opportunity
to expand business contacts, present our solutions, and gain new inspirations for
further development.
At PowereX, we believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and innovation.
Our participation in the mission to the USA and Canada exemplified these values
as we took an exciting step towards expanding our business opportunities through
networking and B2B meetings.
Represented by our Senior Project Manager, Lucia Krajčovicová, …we discussed
opportunities and business prospects in the fields of AI and green technologies. In
Toronto, we attended a business forum at the Ontario Investment and Trade
Centre, where we presented our innovations focused on flexibility aggregation and
discussed cooperation opportunities with Canadian partners. One of the highlights
of the mission was the transfer to San Francisco, where we participated in the
cooperation-networking event ‘Slovaks meet Slovaks.’ We had the opportunity to
meet successful Slovaks operating in the USA and gain valuable advice and
contacts for our business activities.
The final item on the program was a visit to the Stanford Research Institute (SRI)
and participation in the SK-US Business Forum. At this forum, we presented our
solutions and discussed research collaboration opportunities with top institutions.
Equally fascinating was the visit to Google’s headquarters, where we were
introduced to the latest trends in AI.
We extend our gratitude to the Slovak Investment and Trade Development
Agency, the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic, and the Slovak
embassies in Ottawa and Washington for organizing this impactful mission.
